Wenzhou's old streets, among which Wutian Old Street stands out

Wutian Old Street is the first historical and cultural district project in the Ouhai District. It fully opened on September 28, attracting many people to check in, with a surging crowd on site. The gentle waves of the Tang River shimmer, and the clear river water flows slowly. The main channel of the Tang River divides Wutian Old Street into east and west sides, with rivers crisscrossing around, making transportation convenient. Strolling through Wutian Old Street, you can see the green bricks and black tiles, and traditional residential buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China lining the banks, arranged in a picturesque disorder. The drip tiles are carved with auspicious patterns, and the elegant and exquisite carved beams and painted rafters are full of ancient charm, as well as strings of red lanterns, all of which remind people of the prosperity and tranquility of Wutian Old Street in the past. Along the river, the arcades, wharfs, and alleys are unique, and 'banyan trees, pavilions, bridges, temples, and water streets' can be seen everywhere in the district. The tallest building in the entire district, 'Kuixing Pavilion,' with its flying eaves and upturned corners, is particularly eye-catching with its ancient style. Next to it, the art center is exhibiting the 'Tang River Re-Sequence • Wutian's New Life' art exhibition, presenting the old and new faces of Wutian Old Street through photos and videos.
