Guizhou Weining Cao Hai - A pristine plateau lake summer resort Weining Cao Hai is located in Cao Hai Town of Weining County, Guizhou. Cao Hai Town is the county seat of Weining County, and Cao Hai is right next to the county town of Weining. Cao Hai is a complete and typical plateau wetland ecosystem, known as one of China's three major plateau lakes along with Erhai and Dianchi. 🌟🌟🌟 The summer Cao Hai is most attractive for its natural greenery and the cool sanctuary of the plateau lake. Summer in Weining is a comfortable retreat from the heat, when most parts of the country are engulfed by scorching heat, the temperature in Weining county town often stays between 16-24℃. The summer Cao Hai is known for its cool and refreshing air, lush vegetation both above and below the water, and a multitude of natural creatures including flowers, birds, insects, and fish, all brimming with life. 🌟🌟🌟 The autumn and winter Cao Hai is a paradise for bird-watching tourism. The local farmers and fishermen have a tradition of protecting birds. The lake and wetlands are crowded with migratory birds that are not too afraid of humans, creating a spectacular and beautiful scene. You can always see rare birds protected at the national level, especially the black-necked crane. In 2015, the China Wildlife Conservation Association awarded Weining County the honorary title of 'Hometown of the Black-necked Crane in China'. 🌟🌟🌟 Cao Hai is now completely closed for conservation, and all production and tourism activities on the lake have been stopped.
