In early summer, you must come to Weihai to see a sunrise

Half Moon Bay Beach ►Half Moon Bay is named for its crescent-shaped harbor, with a coastline that stretches 25 kilometers long, known as the 'Back Garden of Weihai' and 'City's Living Room.' The beach is 780 meters long, with gentle slopes and excellent water quality. It is the main venue for the triathlon competition, and the Half Moon Bay International Beach Music Festival is also held here every summer. This place faces the sea to the east and is a recommended spot for watching the sunrise at sea. Compared to other coastlines, Half Moon Bay is one of the few with a beach where you can enjoy the sunrise, which makes it more fun to visit. ►Sunrise Time The sunrise time in early May is at 4:30. For other seasons, check the sunrise time in advance and set your alarm accordingly. ►Photography Tips Bring props like flowers, beer, or a small speaker for the foreground. Shoot towards the direction of the sunrise to capture beautiful silhouettes. Take a drone to shoot a time-lapse of the sunrise. Or record a short video of running towards the sea. ►Address: 160 meters northeast of the intersection of Huanhai Road and Yinghai Road ►Transportation: It is recommended to drive or take a taxi, and head there half an hour in advance. 2. Weihai Park ► On the first morning of your visit to Weihai, as you open the curtains of your hotel room, a red sun has already risen above the sea. Along the coastal avenue, you can see people exercising in the morning, cycling, running, and strolling by the sea, all enjoying the beauty of the morning! From the hotel, head straight to the seaside of the park. Although there is no beach, you can still walk down the steps for an intimate encounter with the sea. Standing on the boardwalk, you can see the lighthouse park not far away and the city skyline on the other side. ►Picture within a Picture The most checked-in spot in the entire park is definitely the 'Picture within a Picture' at the Haisong Square, a sculpture created by the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in 2001. From the land, you can see the natural seascape through the picture frame, and from the sea, you can see the cityscape through it. Whether it's the sunrise or the blue sky with white clouds, combined with various creative poses, it's very fun to play with. ►Sunrise Viewing Spot If you want to watch the sunrise in Weihai, Weihai Park is a great spot. The sea level here is quite long, with nothing much obstructing the view in front, and after the sun rises, you can even include the 'Picture within a Picture' in your frame!
