Bayartu Carnival Night

At the end of June, I went to Chengde, Hebei with a tour group of friends. During the day, we visited Saihanba Forest Park, and in the evening, we experienced the Bayartu Carnival on the Bashang Grassland. "Grassland Sacred Fire" Music Carnival Night 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM It was not an ordinary bonfire party, but featured unique local performances and interactions, such as horsehead fiddle, long-tune singing, throat singing, and Andai dance, all embodying Mongolian customs. It felt like a mix of elements, a collision of modern and ethnic styles, a unique night that filled my heart. This carnival night reminded me of a scene from Chi Zijian's "All the Nights in the World," where I actually came to the grassland, drank milk tea, listened to the horsehead fiddle, and watched the fireworks show. The audience present came from all over the country, enthusiastic and passionate, each holding up their phones for various live broadcasts and photos. I managed to squeeze through the crowd to take a few pictures. I especially loved watching the fireworks and checking in. The wind that misses you has blown to Bayartu. Since I was on a group tour, we stayed at a hotel near the grassland that night. The bus driver drove us there, and we actually only played for an hour before heading back to the city.
