National Museum of Asian Art in the United States

The National Museum of Asian Art, composed of the Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, is named after its donors and houses many precious Asian artifacts, with a focus on Chinese, Japanese, and Islamic pieces. Like the National Gallery of Art, it offers a pleasant experience with fewer visitors, and the architecture itself is worth appreciating. I only had time to see the Chinese-related Tang, Song, Ming, Qing, ancient jades, Houma bronzes, and Anyang bronzes, and it was a delightful surprise.
