Museum at King Jan III's Palace

It's not called like this by accident. Yes, Wilanów is smaller and perhaps less gorgeous than the French palace, but it also has a cameral charm that more than makes up for it. The gardens aren't very extensive, but beautifully situated near a nature preserve and still large enough to warrant an hour-long walk, while the palace itself has some of the richest interiors you will see in Poland and boasts an interesting collection of European and oriental art. In one of the wings, you even have an opportunity to witness experts at work restoring paintings and other exhibits! It in an amazing place and I highly recommend it, bit inside and out. The inside is beautifully furnished with interesting exhibits, and the outside grounds and gardens are meticulously groomed. A must-see on a visit to Warsaw.
