[Saitama Prefecture] Eggplants and a shrine for warding off illnesses

Shirako Suwa Shrine 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This shrine is located near the intersection of Kawagoe Kaido and Prefectural Route 68 in Shirako, Wako City. You can see cars passing over the Wako Overpass from the shrine grounds. When a serious illness spread in Shirako-juku during the Edo period, people at the time prayed for a speedy recovery at the Shirako Suwa Shrine. They were instantly cured, and the shrine became known as a ward off illness.
