Family, if you're visiting Wakayama, don't miss out on Cobato Bake Factory! Escaping the bustling Osaka to the quiet off-season Wakayama, I stumbled upon this super cute shop. The place is very popular. When I arrived, there was only one spot left at the popular second-floor scenic view area. If I had been any later, I would have had to queue or sit on the first floor. They have two storefronts: one dedicated to bagels, sweets, and related bread, and the other offering sandwiches and light meals. I heard their pudding is super delicious, but unfortunately, I went there for lunch and ordered an egg bagel sandwich and a hot Americano. Sitting on the second floor, basking in the warm sunlight, eating, and watching the people below, it was truly healing. The egg bagel sandwich I ordered had a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The savory egg blended perfectly with the bread, and the hot Americano was very authentic with a rich coffee aroma.
