[Fukui gourmet] Squid bowl at Drive-In Yoshida✨

Wakasa-cho, Mikata-Kaminaka-gun, Fukui Prefecture. Drive-in Yoshida is located on the shore of Lake Suigetsu, one of the Mikata Five Lakes. It's a famous restaurant that has been featured in the media, but I came all the way there because I wanted to eat their squid bowl. It opens at 10:00 and there was a long line, so I arrived at 9:30 and waited a little in the parking lot. Maybe because it was a Monday after the summer holidays, there were only a few cars parked, and I was able to enter the restaurant smoothly. I was also quite interested in the limited-edition seafood bowl, but I ordered the squid bowl set without hesitation. I ordered the squid bowl set💰Price: ¥2200 (specialty squid bowl, fried tentacles, pickled plum, miso soup) and additionally grilled squid mouth with salt💰Price: ¥350 and squid ear butter soy sauce teppanyaki💰Price: ¥450. The squid bowl was so delicious that I was speechless. The grated yam, perilla leaves, seaweed, and quail eggs on top of the rice go perfectly with the fresh, chewy squid. The special wasabi sauce has just the right amount of wasabi and is incredibly delicious. The fried squid tentacles were also thick but soft and delicious. They sell pickled plums in the store, so I bought some as a souvenir. The whole meal while looking out at the spectacular lake was special. Please come and visit us once. - ...
