A journey in Russia to find my favorite matryoshka doll. When I traveled to Vladivostok, I became obsessed with searching for matryoshka dolls. There are many designs of matryoshka dolls. The one I chose is the one in the last photo. I fell in love at first sight with the matryoshka doll holding a cat and the matryoshka doll with the matryoshka doll with the cookie pattern on it. It was worth the walk around. Even the smallest matryoshka dolls were intricately painted, and I was moved when I opened them.
