Restful but fun Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach is a relaxing resort like city centered around its beach. The main reason one goes to Virginia beach is of course for its beach. That's the main attraction and everything is located around it. The water is warm and clean and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The beach is also quite large and is a great place for beach activities, a picnic or simply for suntanning. There are numerous restaurants that line the beach, and nothing is really unforgettable, as you'd expect from a resort city. Nonetheless it is a treat to be able to dine outside, with the sea as the backdrop. There's also a pier on the beach which is also quite nice to walk out to the sea. Street parking is a bit difficult to come by but there are several parking garages at reasonable prices. Keep in mind that in the summer months the roads leading in and out of the city can get quite crowded and congested, especially at the end of the day. So just a tip, avoid leaving right after dinner as most people leaving during that time. Overall, Virginia beach is a relaxing beach resort city.
