[Iceland] Vik Black Beach: Quiet and beautiful, definitely a great place to relax on the journey.

A beautiful but less touristy black sand beach in Vik. The day we went it was deserted and it looked like not many people visited or knew about this place. There are beautiful rock formations and black sand, as well as a large colony of puffins. While the more famous Black Sand Beach has basalt columns, this beach has no tourists or tour buses, making it one of our two favorite beaches in Iceland. It's all so peaceful and beautiful, definitely worth a visit - especially if you enjoy beach walks and puffins. #beach #iceland #vik #beachwalk #birdwatching #quietplace
