If you have it at the border pass office, it will cost about 50 baht. The disadvantage is that you have to be within 50 km of Vientiane. That is, you will not be able to go to Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang, or other places. Okay? After we gave the passport to the officer to stamp, we waited to board the bus to cross to the Lao border. This costs 30 baht per person. When we reached the Lao border, the officer on the Lao side stamped the 20 baht land-stepping fee per person. In conclusion, crossing to the Lao side costs only 50 baht. That's easy, my friends. Then we went to exchange money. 1 = 653 kip, exchanged 3,000 baht, got 1,959,000 kip 💸 After exchanging money, we went to buy a 150 baht SIM card. Sip it and wait for the bus to go to the capital city of Vientiane, which is 25 km from the border. The fare is 18,000 kip per person. We've arrived in the capital city of Vientiane. Walked to the accommodation from the bus station to the accommodation, about 2 km. The accommodation that we booked in advance is called The Riva Vientiane Hotel. The price is 2,563 baht, including buffet breakfast. It's a bit expensive because it's a room for 4 people, but there were only 3 of us. For those who don't want to walk to the accommodation, there are three-wheeled vehicles available, but be careful not to get ripped off. With good intentions, we had to bargain a bit. We chose to walk to the accommodation because we wanted to see the city as we went. We stopped to take pictures and find something to eat along the way. While walking, we were hungry, so we stopped at The Sun, a restaurant and cafe. We didn't know what to order, so we ordered the same thing: crispy pork with basil. This meal cost 180,000 kip. Then we walked on foot and stopped at Amazon, which is similar to back home, but nothing much. We ate and ate while walking to the accommodation. When we arrived at the accommodation, we checked in, gave our names, and then the staff took us to our rooms. The service was great. We rested and regained our strength in the cool breeze for a while. We rented two motorcycles to ride. They don't allow three people to ride there. Normally, each motorcycle costs 150,000. The kind vendor gave me a discount of 100,000 per bike, renting 2 bikes is 200,000 kip 🏍️ with 1 liter of gas After getting the bike, I drove around the city. I went to see Wat Pha That Luang in Vientiane. It closes at 5:30 p.m. In the evening, it is closed. Then I went to see the Patuxai Monument. It is very beautiful. The inside is very beautiful, but the sun is a bit hot. Then drive back to return the car and walk to Wat Pho Phra Kaew, pay the entrance fee of 30,000 kip per person. I only took pictures outside. Inside, they don't allow taking pictures. Walked to the bus station to travel to the Lao border to return to Thailand. Didn't make the bus at 13.30 pm. Rented a bus back for 130,000 kip.
