A paradise with a thousand years of history on the Mediterranean Sea

I got up early and took a ferry from the Cirkewwa port of Malta to the Mgarr port of this paradise-like Gozo Island (Gozo) to start my day trip to Gozo Island. 🟧Gozo Island Introduction The second largest island in Malta, Gozo, is located to the northwest of the main island, 14 kilometers long and 7 kilometers wide, it is really a small place. But when it comes to its history, it can be traced back to thousands of years ago, there were already traces of human activities here. The capital Victoria City (Victoria) with its earthy yellow buildings and those crisscrossing alleys that make people lose their way, surprisingly gives people the illusion of being in Fez, Morocco. But the local customs here are much better, the passionate and friendly Maltese give people a full sense of security. Climbing up the Citadel castle located in the center of Victoria City, you can take in the scenery of the island. You can also take a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus like me to tour the entire island.
