The path by the pool leads to the beach, where you might see orcas and whales! We stayed in a one-bedroom sea view suite with an excellent view, facing the sea with no obstructions. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen, bathtub, and fireplace. The hotel is generous, providing toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton pads, and swabs. The double room has four pairs of slippers and bathrobes, which are heartwarming details. The hotel is in a quiet and safe residential area. A short walk leads to a small pier for sea views, and stairs lead to the beach. Driving is convenient, just over ten minutes to downtown and Chinatown. Overall, the experience at Oak Bay Beach Hotel was excellent, with attention to detail and a sincere effort to enhance the guest experience.
