Venice was a place with especially pretty buildings 💫✨🤩 And it was even more interesting because it had a story‼️ St. Mark's Basilica had the prettiest exterior of any cathedral I've ever seen! It's said to be built to house the remains of Saint Mark, which were brought from Egyptㅎㅎ As a sad thing, I remember being sad when I saw the news last year that Venice had flooded and that it would take a long time to restore this cathedral🥲 The Bridge of Sighs has a unique name, so I looked it up and found that it got its name from the words of prisoners crossing the bridge, "When will I be able to see beautiful Venice again?"ㅎㅎ That's how beautiful Venice really is! The Rialto Bridge is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Venice! The Rialto Bridge, a landmark of Venice, is said to have been the only bridge that could cross the Grand Canal in the past.
