#summervacay It's been N days since I left Venice, and I miss it, I miss it, I miss it!! This was absolutely my favorite stop on my Italy trip! Who would have thought I'd spend half a month in this city of water? (Though mostly it was for the Venice International Film Festival.) Every spot here is a prime photo opportunity, perfect for you to replicate and capture your own memories. From the Rialto Bridge to St. Mark's Square, and then on to the ferry heading to Lido Island, a city walk here means every candid shot turns into a masterpiece! Pro tip: Weather is crucial! On the 5th, Venice had intermittent rain all day, and St. Mark's Square was flooding. Definitely not ideal weather for photos! If your schedule allows, try to spend a few extra days on the island. A slower pace always leads to new, delightful surprises. I was initially sad about missing sunsets because I was always watching films with creators at the Cinema Palace, but luckily, on my last day in Venice, I was treated to an absolutely stunning, fiery sunset over the city.
