【Romantic Venice Night】A surprise feast at Bistrot de Venise

Bistrot de Venise is very close to Rialto Station and it is easy to find the restaurant by following Google Map. The restaurant has a history of more than 20 years, but the entire decoration makes you feel as if you are walking into the history of Venice. There are also masks symbolizing Venice hanging in the window behind you. The service in the restaurant is very good. Every time a dish is served, the staff will carefully introduce it to me and joke with me. Since I wanted to give my family a surprise, I made a reservation at the restaurant for the "romantic menu" (€150). I would like to remind you that there is a 20% discount for seating after 9:30, but this set menu requires a reservation at the restaurant. Although the restaurant opens at 10:30, we ended up leaving at around 11:00. In addition, I also bought a rose to make the whole dining experience more romantic. (My family and I’s names were also printed on the restaurant menu! What a surprise!) Scallops The scallops are fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are sweet and juicy when eaten, complementing the warmth of the celery cream, and the crispy chips added to the taste make the taste more layered. · Marinated Sturgeon The sturgeon is marinated with mulled red wine, which has a wine aroma and a slight sour taste, and the fish meat is tender and smooth. Served with pickled vegetables and mustard, it tastes so special and you can feel the beauty of old-time recipes. · Raffioli de herbe…vantazati The filling is full of cheese and has a very rich flavor, while the saffron sauce has a sweet fragrance, and paired with the crispy caramel almonds, it has a very rich layering. · Linguine alla ''Buzara'' The noodles are cooked to al dente, chewy and springy, and full of the aroma of San Marzano tomatoes, worthy of being the king of tomatoes. And there is also chili oil to add flavor to the pasta, which is quite tempting. · Beef fillet The beef tenderloin was fried just right, the meat was tender and juicy, with a strong beef flavor and evenly distributed fat. Served with truffle potato waffles, the aroma of truffle adds the finishing touch to the waffles. · Our “maison” Heart Shaped Dessert “Cuor de Venexia” The passion fruit is refreshing and slightly sour, which just neutralizes the greasiness, and it doesn’t seem to burden the stomach, so I want to eat a few more bites. There are cocoa crunch balls in the middle of the mousse, which makes the taste richer.
