🏛️🏰Romantic Piazza San Marco

The wide open square was surrounded by old-fashioned buildings, and the splendid exterior of St. Mark's Basilica immediately caught my eye. The pigeons and lively tourists that filled the square created a unique atmosphere. In particular, when I climbed up to the Campanile bell tower and looked down at the city, I was amazed by the panoramic view of Venice with its canals and red roofs. During the day, it was filled with music and people's laughter, and at night, the square transformed into a romantic atmosphere under soft lighting. St. Mark's Square was a special place where I could best feel the history and charm of Venice.
