Exploring Tham Xang

Tha Khaek is known for its caverns, and Tham Xang, which is close to town, is one of the simplest to see. This cave is only 4 kilometers from Tha Khaek's center and is famed for its stalagmites, one of which is supposed to resemble an elephant's head. There are several channels that flow through the cave, one of which is placed just below the cave's trademark statue, a gold-plated Buddha mage. #historicculture#ancientlandmark#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer
