Dodital Trek—Hiking in Himalaya for the first time!

This is a coin-flipping decision reflecting how my intuition aligns with the consciousness of the universe. After my yoga teacher training in India, the teacher asked me if I wanted to climb the Himalaya mountain. My flight was originally in the south, and to be honest, my body was quite exhausted from the training, so I was indecisive. However, deep down I really wanted to join this trip to the north and felt like the universe would lead me to Himalaya. I shouted, “Flip the coin!” Within a second, I was jumping cheerfully and shouting, “I’m gonna go to Himalaya!!!” 🗓️Itinerary Scheduling 🏔️Day 1: Take a bus to Agoda, begin the hike, and reach Dodital Lake in the evening, where the camping site is. ⛄️Day 2: Pooja at the Shri Ganesh Temple in the morning. Hike up north to see the snow! Return back for nice dinner. Every day in the morning, the Ganesha temple will perform chanting. I like to go there and receive my blessing and meditate by the river in the morning. 🥰Day 3: Return to Agoda. Enjoy the nice homestay and gathering with friends. 🏡🏕️Accomodation 🏡 Bharat Homestay (The Native Himalayan) in the village of Agoda They provide cozy rooms and nutritional meals to prepare us with the energy for our trekking. You can make friends with the locals and travellers from around the world and India. 📍 Dodital, Barahat Range, Uttarakhand 249193, India 🌡️Be aware of the mass differences of the temperature between day time and night time. In the day time, especially during hiking, you may want to wear T-shirts and shorts. However, in there night time, the temperature can drop to 3 degrees Celsius, so please prepare warm clothes with you. For my 3-day hike, I wear the same clothes every day because of my inability of carrying heavy weights🤣 Clothes I brought: T-shirt*1 Long sleeve shirts *2 Down jacket*1 Wool hat*1 Scarf*1 Pants*2 (a thicker one for night) 💰Average Price per Person: $285 USD I joined a group organized by Bhagirathi Outdoor Association This is my first time doing a hike more than 1 day, let alone hiking in Himalaya! However, I made it! If I can do it, you can definitely do it! Dodital trek is considered an easier trek in the Himalaya region.
