Lost In Nature - Ushuai’s National Park

A beginner friendly place to trek, one could easily kill half a day here at Laguna Esmeralda located in Tierra del Fuego National park. There are public shuttles to Laguna Esmeralda, round trip cost 3500ARS as of Dec 22. Earliest shuttle departing at 10am hourly and last shuttle leaves from the parking lot at the trailhead at 5pm. The trail itself is well marked and you will not get lost even if you’re by yourself as it’s pretty straightforward. It takes around 1 hour to get to the lake from the parking lot, the only challenging part is probably the end of the trail which was a bit steeper but easily doable. The views along the way is amazing, and once at the lake you can sit down to have your picnic and enjoy the serene landscape.
