Home in the Grand Bazaar: Unlock the colorful family time in Urumqi in one day

Urumqi Grand Bazaar has always been on my family’s travel wish list. Finally, it was arranged. This day was full of joy and surprises. I must share this awesome family one-day tour guide with everyone! 🌞Morning: Cultural treasure hunt In the morning, the family walked into the Grand Bazaar full of energy. The architecture here is very unique, with spires, arches, and full of exotic style, instantly bringing us into a mysterious atmosphere. First go to the Xinjiang Gift House, where you will be dazzled by the variety of handicrafts. I bought an exquisite Uighur flower hat for the child, and my parents picked out a shawl with ethnic patterns. The whole family appreciated the work, marveled at the ingenuity of the craftsmen, and felt the strong cultural atmosphere. 🍜Noon: Grand Bazaar on the tip of your tongue Tired of shopping, go straight to the food area. The aroma of grilled noodles and grilled lamb skewers is so tempting that you can't move away. We found a busy restaurant and ordered pilaf, big plate chicken, and special yogurt rice dumplings. The children's mouths were full of oil as they ate. The noodles in the big plate of chicken were soaked up with the rich soup. Everyone was scrambling to eat it, and laughter echoed in the restaurant. 💃Afternoon: Folk Joy Party In the afternoon, I watched the performance of street performers. The Uyghur dance was so contagious! My parents were invited to the stage to dance together. They were a little shy at first, but soon they were dancing happily to the rhythm. The children were also learning in the same way, and the atmosphere was extremely exciting. Afterwards, we visited a Uyghur home. The host warmly invited us into the house, tasted sweet fruits, and told us about ethnic customs and life stories. The children asked questions out of curiosity, and the host answered them patiently, allowing the family to gain a deeper understanding of Uyghur culture. 🌃Evening: Brilliant Grand Bazaar Night As night falls, the Grand Bazaar is brightly lit. Take the children on the carousel, and they smile especially brightly under the colorful lights. My parents took photos nearby to record this beautiful moment. Finally, the family sat on an open-air bench, eating ice cream and watching the lively crowd. The light shines on my body and warms my heart. This day at the Urumqi Grand Bazaar not only allowed the family to see beautiful scenery and taste delicious food, but also allowed family ties to grow stronger in joy.
