Edinburgh Zoo: A Unique Wildlife Experience

Originally known as the Scottish National Zoological Park, Edinburgh Zoo was established in 1913 and is now part of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Located on the southern slopes of Corstorphine Hill, it offers stunning views of the city. Edinburgh Zoo is renowned as the first zoo in the world to house and breed penguins and is the only zoo in the UK to have giant pandas from China. It takes about three hours to explore the entire zoo, where the pandas and penguins are particularly charming.
