Umugi: A Local Favorite Udon Restaurant in Osaka's Sanbangai

It's a spot frequented by locals, and I visited it right when it opened, but there was already quite a long wait even in the morning. The interior isn't very spacious, but there are plenty of seats, so the turnover rate is quite high. I ordered the udon with tofu pouches, and it was delicious with generous ingredients and chewy noodles. The seasoning is on the stronger side, but it's a great place to visit when you're craving a warm bowl of soup.
