As I was used to tourism centered around nomadic culture and natural scenery, it felt a bit strange at first to have an 'amusement park' in Mongolia. However, when I went there in person, I found it to have a special charm, and I was able to have a much more diverse experience than I expected~👏 The amusement park is located along Peace Avenue in the heart of Ulaanbaatar, so it was easy to get there by taxi or bus. When I arrived at the entrance, my first impression was the rustic atmosphere that felt a bit old-fashioned. However, that kind of affectionate atmosphere made me feel Mongolian sentiment even more, and it felt like a space that contained traces of time!! Entry to the park was free, and each ride had a separate fee. The first thing I saw after entering was the Ferris wheel. It wasn't very big, but I decided to ride it because I could see the whole of Ulaanbaatar at a glance. The vast city view and the mountain ridges in the distance that I saw when I reached the top were really beautiful, and it was a new experience to enjoy the scenery like this while riding the ride~👍 Riding the rides was fun, but the part I liked the most in this park was the walking area. On one side of the amusement park, there was a well-kept garden, benches, and a small lake, and people were enjoying their leisure time eating simple lunch boxes or chatting. I also sat there for a long time and rested while feeling the local atmosphere. Spending time leisurely in the clear, dry air unique to Mongolia was truly healing, and it gave me a different kind of impression than an ordinary travel course. The locals seem to think of this park as a place to spend time with their families, take walks, and make memories, rather than just an amusement park.
