【Kyoto】A recommended temple for a cute girls' trip, where every place is charming.

The birthplace of green tea, Uji-Tawara, is home to Shoujuin. This temple, true to Kyoto's character, has a history of 800 years and is also known as the Wind Chime Temple. Shoujuin, however, has a cute spot that is also recommended for girls' trips! It's the guest hall with heart-shaped boar's eye windows called 'Sokuten no Ma' 🩵 Boar's eye (inome) is one of the traditional Japanese patterns that has been used for about 1,400 years in the architectural decorations of temples and shrines. Additionally, there are 160 ceiling paintings, which are also cute 🩷 The temple staff even suggest lying down to look at them, and it was truly breathtaking when I did ✨ Access might be a bit difficult, but it's definitely a spot worth visiting.
