Encountering Beauty in Uijeongbu through Song "Following the melody's guide, my steps lead to an unfamiliar city, where behind every strange window hides a potential story." Inspired by BOL4's song "Travel," I arrived in Uijeongbu, South Korea, and checked into Good Hotel, embarking on a heartwarming journey. • Design Style: The hotel showcases a typical Korean minimalist style, featuring a color palette of off-white and wood tones. The extensive use of wooden lattices and plain-colored soft furnishings creates a simple yet cozy atmosphere, evoking a sense of coming home. • Room Type/Layout: My single room had a compact and well-designed layout. The simple bathroom with separate wet and dry areas was on the left upon entering. The resting area was on the right, with a soft, comfortable bed. A desk and chair were placed by the window, offering excellent natural light, perfect for daytime viewing and reading. • Activities: The hotel is close to the Uijeongbu Folk Village, where traditional Korean houses and unique shops stand side by side. Strolling through the village offers an immersive experience of Korean folk culture. You can also visit the nearby pottery workshop to experience pottery making and create your own unique ceramic artwork. • Dining Features: The hotel's breakfast features seaweed rice rolls with soft, glutinous rice and a variety of fillings, offering a satisfying bite. For dinner, the Budae Jjigae (Army Stew) is a hearty pot filled with ramen noodles, ham, cheese, and a rich broth, both comforting and delicious. • Average Cost: One night's accommodation plus three meals costs about CNY 400 per person, offering excellent value for money. • Other Tips: The hotel reception can assist with booking tickets for attractions. There are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The night market near the hotel is lively in the evening, offering a chance to find unique souvenirs.
