Bali Island Ubud Travel Campuhan Ridge Walk I really enjoyed this walk! I do it every time I'm in Ubud! It's just beautiful. If it's hot at midday, be sure to bring a hat and sunscreen. A wonderful walk, it's lovely to be in nature away from the busy Ubud town. I highly recommend taking the time to do this walk. There are nice places for a drink along the way Gunung Kawi Temple I'm a full-time traveler and we talk about everything we do. Usually, I review them after the fact, but if you're looking for things to do around the Ubud area, don't miss this temple. Another fellow nomad suggested we see it, and I'm so glad we did. It's beyond spectacular. There are many stairs, and there are vendors who may hassle you on the way down, but make sure to check out the entire temple area as there are several sets of waterfalls scattered about. If you've been to Petra, there are some similarities in that there are carvings right out of the bare rock. Pura Tirta Empul It's really worth the trip! Have patience and respect for those who come to worship. Like all other temples, there are free sarongs for your convenience. Respect the culture you are experiencing.
