Probably one side of the house is where the owner lives, and the other side is rented out to tourists. The house is near the Ubud Palace, the center of Ubud, and the location is superb. The door of my house is always open or unlocked, so there is no access control issue. I can go out whenever I want, just like in a hotel. When we checked in, we were greeted by the hostess, who was very friendly and cordial. The room feels spacious and clean. The hotel provides basic hotel amenities such as hangers, kettles, bottled water, toothbrushes, shampoo and bath supplies, and towels, so you don't need to bring your own. Let's talk about the bad parts of this accommodation. First, because the house is located in an alley, the car cannot drive to the door, which will be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. Moreover, the rental house has two floors, and there is a chance that you will be assigned to a room on the second floor and have to climb the stairs with your luggage. The second reason is that I live here with the owner's family, and the rooms on both sides of the house are not far apart. I would worry about disturbing them if I get up late or go out early. The door of the room is a glass door, and looking out is the altar where the owner's family worships in the courtyard. The view is open and not oppressive, but the privacy is not very good. Although the overall feeling was good and the room was clean, the price was a bit more expensive than expected (because it was my first time here and I didn’t dare to try cheaper places).
