Before I went to this homestay, I thought it was beautiful from the photos. The actual environment is even more beautiful than the photos😭 Living here really meets all my imaginations of Italian rural life Stayed for 3 days and felt not enough 🛏️Homestay: San Giovanni in Poggio 📍Location: 1.5h drive from Florence It is about half an hour's drive from several nearby towns Siena, Pienza, Val d'Orcia, and several cypress tree check-in locations. It is a 10-minute drive to the nearest town, and there are several large supermarkets (Carrefour, Coop, IGO) in the town. 💰Reference price: 1500/night 🌲Homestay features ✔️The entire manor has 5 rooms, each with a kitchen, kitchenware, seasonings, ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc. There is a grill in the backyard for free use. On the last night, we bought skewers in the supermarket and had a BBQ in the backyard, which was very comfortable. ✔️When checking in, the homestay housekeeper introduced the surrounding places to visit very enthusiastically and gave a lot of guide maps. ✔️The room rate does not include breakfast, you can buy breakfast pastries for a fee, 2.5 euros per serving, with croissants and the like, and also provide paid private chef dinners, which are not cost-effective, and are more expensive than eating in a restaurant outside. ✔️The homestay has an open-air bath and a sauna, which can be used repeatedly during the stay, but you need to make an appointment with the housekeeper in advance, and each use time is 1h. ✔️The homestay also provides some paid play projects, such as cycling and hiking around, visiting wineries, etc., and provides mountain bike and electric bike rentals.
