One month free travel in Italy - Day 5 (12/6): 71km Tuscany bike tour🚲

We are still unable to legally use electric bikes in Hong Kong, so since we are in Tuscany, we must spend a day riding e-bikes and exploring Italy’s suburban attractions and towns! Since the starting point of this route is relatively remote, we paid 40 euros to have the owner take us from the city center to the bicycle rental place (30 minutes drive), and the same service was provided on the return trip. After choosing the right bike for us, the owner explained safety issues to us and gave us a map. After confirming the route, we started our nine-hour journey. (👧🏻 means I can’t understand a map without a location function.) As we cycled, we were greeted by gusts of breeze, which felt particularly refreshing even in the hot summer. We were surrounded by flowers, plants and trees. We enjoyed the scenery along the way and relaxed our body and mind. Some of the stone roads along the way were quite rugged, and as we were riding an e-bike for the first time, we had to learn how to control its speed and balance. We passed through a small town called Certaldo and had lunch there (most of the buildings there are built with brown-red bricks, the style is quite unique, and the colors are quite beautiful!) About 5 hours later, we found a friend of the owner to charge our e-bikes, and by the way, we visited a nearby town - San Gimignano🏰 It gave me a bit of a Harry Potter vibe XD, with various boutiques lining the streets, and many shops selling local wines. After charging the e-bike, we returned to the rental shop. Because we had to return the car at the scheduled time, we didn't have extra time to enjoy the scenery (but we did stop for five minutes to enjoy the beautiful sunset XD), and we ended up being an hour late. . . (Be sure to reserve time next time!) We cycled for a total of nine hours on this trip. Although it was quite tiring, it is worth experiencing the fun of e-bikes when you come to Italy and enjoying the suburban towns of Italy! 😍 -to be continued- 🍽️Today’s lunch —— Ali Ristorante Pizzeria Kebab 🗣️We ordered Kebab (full of gravy and a lot of portion, a very good choice for fast food!) 💰 Average consumption per person: about 7 euros 🌟Rating: 4.0/5.0 📍Tuscany, Italy
