🏔 Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina without brutal hiking

#vietnamtrip Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam (3,147 m) and in all of Indochina. Years ago reaching the summit meant a serious multi-day trek. Today you can stand on the top in less than an hour – thanks to one of the most impressive cable cars in Southeast Asia. Despite how easy it became, the atmosphere on the summit is still epic – clouds, temples, giant Buddha statues and endless mountain layers below. 🚆 How to get there Fansipan is accessed from Sapa. – From Hanoi to Sapa by sleeper train – 8 hours to Lao Cai + 1 hour by bus/taxi – From Hanoi to Sapa by bus – 5.5–6.5 hours – From Sapa to Fansipan cable car station – 10 minutes by taxi, 80,000–120,000 VND 🎟 Entry fee – Cable car round trip – about 800,000–900,000 VND – Funicular train inside the complex (optional) – 70,000–150,000 VND Prices change by season and weekends. 🚠 How the visit works 1. Arrive at Sun World Fansipan Legend 2. Take the world-record cable car – about 15 minutes 3. From upper station – climb stairs or take funicular 4. Reach the summit marker at 3,147 m Total visiting time – 2.5–4 hours 🕌 What to see on the way – Giant Buddha statue – Mountain pagodas and temples – Cloud sea viewpoints – Summit marker of Fansipan On clear days the views are unreal. On cloudy days – you literally walk inside the clouds. #vietnam #sapa #fansipan
