Hitakatsu Port - A quiet island village Hitakatsu (比田勝), located on the north side of Tsushima, Japan, is one of the closest Japanese travel destinations to Korea, and can be reached in about 1 hour and 10 minutes by boat from Busan. On this trip, I was able to experience the beautiful scenery and charm of Hitakatsu Village firsthand.👍 As soon as I arrived at Hitakatsu Port by speedboat from Busan, a clean and quiet port village unfolded before me. There were small shops and restaurants around the port, and the sea breeze felt refreshing. The quiet and refined atmosphere unique to Japan was impressive~ 2. Miuda Beach (三宇田浜) - The emerald sea of ​​Tsushima Island Miuda Beach, located about a 30-minute walk from Hitakatsu, is a beautiful place that was selected by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan." The combination of pure white sand and clear water created a fantastic landscape. The water was emerald, and just walking along the beach felt healing. It is said that many tourists enjoy swimming in the sea in the summer~😃 3. Nigasanoyu Onsen (にがさの湯) - Open-air bath with an ocean view I visited Nigasanoyu Onsen to relieve the fatigue accumulated during my trip. This hot spring, located about a 10-minute walk from Miuda Beach, features an open-air bath where you can enjoy a hot spring bath while looking out over the ocean. While soaking in the warm hot spring water, the wide open sea view spread out before my eyes, and it felt really healing. Both the indoor and outdoor baths were clean and well-maintained, and it was a great place to experience Japanese hot spring culture.👍 4. Japan-Russia Friendship Hill (日露友好の丘) – A quiet observation point About a 15-minute walk from Hitakatsu, Japan-Russia Friendship Hill (日露友好の丘) is an observation point where you can overlook Hitakatsu Port and the surrounding coast at a glance. There is a monument commemorating the friendly relations between Japan and Russia, and you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere along with the wide open sea view. In particular, at sunset, the sunset turns the sea red, creating a spectacular sight, and it was a great place to take pictures! Hitakatsu Town was a place where you could experience beautiful nature and unique Japanese traditional culture in a quiet and quiet atmosphere. Because it is close to Busan, it is possible to visit even with a short schedule, and it felt like the best travel destination to spend some leisurely time away from the busy daily life.
