⛳️ Location: Tambon Naen Sai, Mueang District, Trat Province 🕯️Wat Wiwek Wararam, originally named Wat Nong Phrong, after the name of the village, was established in 1890. Later, in 1922, the regional abbot visited various temples and arrived at Wat Nong Phrong. He saw that this place was cool, peaceful, and shady, suitable for practicing Dhamma, so he submitted a request to change the name to "Wat Wiwek Wararam". The temple received the royal charter on October 25, 1973. 🔆After Phra Maha Mongkol Yatiko took office as abbot, he continuously developed the temple, renovating the ordination hall and the surrounding area, which had been built for almost 40 years. The renovation began on June 15, 2012, and was completed on January 28, 2014, and a ceremony was held to celebrate the ordination hall.
