Toronto Public Library Riverdale Branch

Designed in Georgian Revival style by city achitect Robert McCallum, Riverdale branch was one of the ten public libraries built with Carnegi grants in what is now Toronto. The wedge shaped building was erected on part of Don Jail Governor's garden and replaced and earlier branch, Eastern (1888), located in Boulton Avenue near Queen Street East. - Heritage Toronto 2006 #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers
