Toronto's Centre Island Summer Trip

⛱️Must-visit spot: As the largest island on Lake Ontario's shores within Toronto, it's a great place for city dwellers to relax and take their children out. 🌄Travel tips: Choose to go by ferry or water bus, and opt for the ferry on the return trip, as they only charge one-way fare. You can bring a swimsuit to swim in the shallow waters by the lake. 💗Other tips: The island also has various types of bicycles, single, double, or quadruple, which are very popular. In summer, Centre Island is also a great place for the villagers to take their children out. To avoid crowds on weekends, you can choose to take a water TAXI to the island, which is slightly more expensive than the Ferry, but it's faster and less crowded. When returning from the island, if you're not in a hurry, you can choose to take the Ferry back, which is free of charge. Undoubtedly, the island is suitable for those who love water, with safety breakwaters set up in the swimming areas, allowing you to wade in the waters of the great lake. Under the shade of the trees, where there is no sunlight, it's surprisingly cool, even a bit chilly, on a Saturday noon. There's a small amusement park and a playground suitable for young children on the island, and the little fountains are very popular with the kids during summer. Although the island is crowded, thankfully Centre Island is really big, and there are still many quiet places to escape the crowds. The lakeside promenade is my favorite path.
