However, since there are many mountain roads in Toshima, riding an electric bike can be quite tiring. If you are heading to Karakoko Port, it is recommended to take the bus. If you are heading to the Kosei area, you can choose to ride an electric bike as a means of transportation. There are three works near Ieura Port, one of which is the new work "Needle Factory" by Naoshima I love soup writer Shinro Otake. A wooden boat shape is placed in the needle factory. The needle and the boat should not be connected to each other. It turns out that the wooden boat is placed in the needle factory to commemorate two disappeared industries in the Setouchi region - needle factories and wooden boats. Both have been idle for 30 years. The wooden boat is a whole and cannot be transported separately, so the transportation of the boat required the great assistance of the residents of Toyoshima. It was transported from the Ieura Port Pier to the old needle factory to complete this work. There is also Toshima Yokookan and Café IL VENTO where you can enjoy tea in Ieura Port. German artist Tobias Rehberger converted this old house into a camouflage house cafe. The first floor is painted with geometric camouflage black and white lines, and the second floor is a fantasy grassland with green dots. After leaving Karakogaoka, we arrived at the Teshima Art Museum. Because there were too many people, volunteers had to distribute time tickets. The situation was just like when we went to the Chichu Art Museum in Naoshima. The time ticket I received was exactly the same as the boat trip time, so I had to reluctantly give up this famous Teshima Art Museum, leaving behind a little regret. Although I have not entered the Teshima Art Museum, I have heard about what is inside. I remember a friend saying, "After a long journey, I came to Teshima Art Museum just to see that drop of water!" Teshima Art Museum is the work of architect Ryue Nishizawa and artist Rei Naito. Naito used the most natural elements, air, sunlight, wind and water on the ground as the design concept, combining them to form the "water" to be displayed in the museum, allowing the audience to think that the most important element that nurtures all things is "water", so the work is named "Mother". Although it is just a small drop of water, I believe that the entire exhibition hall, from designing and building to bringing groundwater into the cement floor and then squeezing it out on the ground for display, is definitely not an easy task.
