Take my advice! Visit Tonglu in the off-season! Here's a one-day itinerary.

1 hour from Hangzhou, Tonglu is my holiday paradise. I've been there four times, and each time I was surprised. Compared to spring and summer, I found the right way to visit in autumn. Avoid the crowds and take a niche trip. The autumn in Jiangnan is more healing. The boat on the green waves is like a painting in the mountains and forests. The karst cave is as beautiful as a dream. I never get tired of this small town. Here's a one-day itinerary for a short weekend trip. Transportation: From Hangzhou to "Tonglu Station" in 30 minutes, then take a taxi. Drive directly to the scenic spot. One-day itinerary: Tonglu Station → 40 minutes to Tianmu Stream → 10 minutes to Yaolin Wonderland → Return Tianmu Stream Take a bamboo raft to enjoy the green mountains and waters. The green stream and the autumn colors in the mountains form a beautiful landscape painting. There are also autumn decorations at the pier for taking photos. Yaolin Wonderland A naturally formed karst cave, warm in winter and cool in summer, is perfect for family trips. The stalactites in various shapes and colorful lights are so dreamy, like a scene from a sci-fi movie. Every photo is beautiful.
