Yuelai River Cultural and Leisure Street, Tongliao

The newly opened Yuelai River Cultural and Leisure Street in the new district north of the bridge in Tongliao is really nice and adds to the charm of Tongliao's cultural tourism. The lights are on every night at 7:00. The lights are bright, and the breeze is cool, making it a great place to relax and stroll at night. Finally, it looks like the night economy of a big city. Various unique buildings, combined with lighting effects, are reflected in the river. There is a water play area for children, a lively stage performance area, food and snacks from all over the world, cultural and creative stalls, intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans, sugar figures, and creative cultural tourism ice cream. Walking along the river, there are several small bridges in the middle, and you can shuttle back and forth between the two sides of the river to see the beautiful scenery. For parking, it is recommended to navigate to Hongjun Primary School and park in the east-west alley, where there are parking spaces. Walk 100 meters forward to the night market, where you will first see the creative market, and then cross the bridge to the food area and stage area. The place is not big, and the route doesn't matter. The main thing is that the scenery on both sides of the river is good, and you can just walk around the river. Let's talk about the highlights. Various buildings are equipped with lights, and the colors change, which is really beautiful at night. There is a surround projection installed in the "blockhouse" to play videos. I went there on August 1, and they played a promotional video for August 1. This is great. I have seen similar projections on buildings at the First Pass Under Heaven in Shanhaiguan before. The lighting and building hardware are in place, but there is a lack of cultural performances, like the many performance points in the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi'an, the Northeast All Day Mall in Meihekou, and the Old North Market in Shenyang. There is only one stage performance here, and to be honest, the performance is just at the level of a roadshow. There should be some unique cultural or performance art. There should be some programs that can become popular on various online media, such as the flying phoenix in the Old North Market in Shenyang, the flying phoenix and heavenly maidens scattering flowers in the Northeast All Day Mall in Meihekou, the flying slide and Journey to the West performance in Heifengguan Ancient Town in Panjin, and the Great Tang Secret Box in the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi'an.
