Of the 86 islands I've visited in Japan, Tonaki Island is definitely the best in Okinawa.

Okinawa Prefecture is great for Naha, American Village, Ishigaki Island, and Miyako Island, but if you're going to Okinawa, try to experience the best of the original scenery while keeping your budget low 😃 [Tonaki Island] It takes about 2 hours by ferry from Naha, and you'll arrive at Tonaki Island in no time. It is the smallest municipality in Okinawa Prefecture in terms of population, and you can find sea turtles just by walking around the port, and walking through the village is surrounded by silence, and at night the roads are beautifully lit.
