Koami Shrine

Koami Shrine is located in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, and enshrines Kurainatama-no-Kami (Oinari-sama), Ichikishima-Hime-no-Kami (Benten-sama), Fukurokuju-sama, and others. Its history dates back to the mid-Muromachi period. Koami Shrine is also known as the "god of good luck and protection from evil." The shrine's main building and Kagura hall escaped damage from air raids during World War II, and are the only prewar wooden shrine buildings remaining in the Nihonbashi area, and are registered as Chuo Ward cultural properties along with construction documents.
