Tokyo 5-Day Immersive Travel Guide

Day 1 - Took an early morning flight ✈️ to Narita Airport, then bought Skyliner tickets to reach Nippori in 40 minutes (should've gone directly to Ueno actually). Switched metro lines 🚇 using Suica card to reach our hotel 🏨 Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel. Booked Shibuya Sky - Shibuya Sky 360° Open-Air Observation Deck in advance for evening rooftop photos. The wind was so strong at night that wearing a down jacket didn't seem excessive! Shibuya was packed with young people - couldn't even get into any decent yakiniku restaurant [Cry] Day 2 - Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture took quite long for round trip, and there were way too many people taking photos 📷. We gave up on the Slam Dunk anime spot and found strolling by the seaside watching sunset much more relaxing 😌. Visited Akihabara in the evening but arrived too late to explore much~ Day 3 - Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter was somewhat boring, though we took many photos... Tickets were in high demand - sold out when checked one week in advance, so my husband bought resale tickets. Accidentally ended up in Ikebukuro while taking metro at night, finally got 2-3 hours for shopping [Cute][Cute][Cute] (This is the proper way to experience Tokyo!!!) Day 4 - Tokyo Disneyland - Beauty and the Beast lived up to its Top 1 popularity, with 145 minutes wait time [Cry]. But the evening fireworks 🎆 were disappointing 😞 - lasted only 5 minutes, gone just as we got ready to take photos. Day 5 - Tokyo National Museum happened to be open on Monday 🈺️, located in Ueno Park which was on our way to airport... The museum isn't very large, mainly divided into Honkan (Main Gallery), Toyokan (Asian Gallery), Heiseikan and Horyuji Treasure Gallery - can be fully explored in 3 hours. Overall, Kamakura was the highlight with perfect weather allowing us to see Mount Fuji 🗻 wearing its scarf-like clouds in the distance.
