A Culinary Adventure in Japan!

5 Days, 4 Nights in Japan Day 1: After landing at Narita Airport, the first stop was 'Choshi.' The first restaurant we visited was 'Hitachi Fish Dish.' Our Japanese guide recommended this place, mentioning that it’s quite popular, especially in the evenings. The food served was incredibly fresh and delicious. Each of us got a set meal that was absolutely delightful! 👍🏻 Next, we visited the 'Yamasa Soy Sauce Factory Visitor Center,' where we tried soy sauce ice cream made by the factory. The flavor was surprisingly good, reminiscent of salted caramel. We also sampled cola made from soy sauce, paired with sparkling water—it was an amazing combination! Day 2: Heading into Tokyo 🚅 We explored the Ito Yokado area near Kiba, which has a large Seven-Eleven store. After shopping at the mall, we stopped by Tully’s Coffee for a hot matcha latte to recharge before continuing our journey. In the evening, we indulged in sushi at 'Kaiten Sushi Misaki.' The taste was fantastic—definitely a 10/10 experience! It felt like enjoying an omakase meal. Day 3: More sushi! This time, we tried 'Sushiro,' a famous sushi chain that’s gaining popularity in Thailand. The sushi was excellent, and the best part was that there was no waiting in line! For dinner, our Japanese friends invited us to try sukiyaki. But instead of the usual beef or pork sukiyaki, we had 'duck sukiyaki,' a local specialty from Nara. The duck was incredibly fresh with no gamey smell, and the appetizers were equally delightful. This meal was truly satisfying and budget-friendly! 😂 Day 4: The final day of our adventure 🫠 This day was all about exploring, shopping for souvenirs, and eating! First stop: Asakusa. The street food here was abundant, and we highly recommend the green tea shop in Asakusa—it was amazing, with a nutty aroma. Next, we headed to Shibuya for lunch. After much deliberation, we decided to queue at 'Roast Beef Ono.' The line was long, but it was worth the wait. The restaurant is located underground, accessible via stairs. Meat lovers shouldn’t miss this place! We ordered the A5 Wagyu beef set (size M) for about 2,200 yen (excluding drinks). The price was reasonable, and the taste was phenomenal—it kept us full until evening. After lunch, we strolled around Shibuya and tried dorayaki from a famous shop (unfortunately, we forgot the name). The queue was incredibly long, but the taste was worth it! Dinner: BBQ time! It’s a must-have when visiting Japan. We dined at 'Gyu-Kaku' in Shinjuku. The food was delicious, and it’s a buffet-style restaurant where you can choose a price range that suits your budget. We opted for the cheapest set, which cost around 900 baht in Thai currency. It was absolutely worth it! If you’re planning a trip to Japan, we highly recommend trying out the restaurants we visited.
