Free Rose Garden Experience

I visited the Shikinoka Rose Garden, which is located just a 6-minute walk from Hikarigaoka Station (A4 exit). This charming garden is nestled in the heart of Hikarigaoka, and the best part is that it's completely free to enjoy. Despite being free, the garden boasts a wide variety of roses in full bloom, as seen in the photos. The pathways are well-maintained, making it easy to stroll around without worrying too much about your footwear. In addition to roses, the garden features a diverse array of other plants. While May, the peak rose season, is undoubtedly the most beautiful time to visit, the garden offers its charm in other seasons as well. The garden also has a lecture building where gardening consultations, workshops, and various events related to greenery are held, providing an enriching experience for visitors.
