A Mix of Culture, Crowds, and Good Vibes

#springitinerary Temple in Asakusa is one of those places you’ve got to check out at least once in Tokyo. It’s the city’s oldest temple, and yeah, it gets pretty packed, but there’s a cool energy to it. Walking through the giant Kaminarimon gate with that massive red lantern feels iconic. Then you hit Nakamise Street, basically a long row of shops selling everything from snacks to souvenirs. It’s super touristy, but also kinda fun. Once you reach the temple itself, it actually feels pretty peaceful despite the crowds. The incense burning, people making wishes, it’s got a vibe. There’s also a beautiful five-story pagoda nearby and spots to sit and take it all in. Great place for photos, people-watching, or just soaking up some traditional Tokyo atmosphere. Sensoji isn’t a hidden gem by any means, but it totally lives up to the hype.
