Tokyo Nakano Cherry Blossoms: Even Better Than Roppongi and Chidorigafuchi! 🌸

#cherryblossom25 I recently visited several cherry blossom spots, including Roppongi and Chidorigafuchi (you can find my previous posts with the details). While Roppongi’s cherry blossom street is beautiful, it’s relatively short, and the area feels more like an upscale neighborhood or shopping center, lacking that lively, street-level charm. Chidorigafuchi, on the other hand, was just too crowded, making it hard to enjoy. In comparison, I had the best time at Nakano—specifically along the cherry blossom street leading to Arakiyashimae Station. This area feels much more relaxed and natural, with cherry trees stretching for over a kilometer. It was the perfect spot for photos, with far fewer crowds and a charming, more local vibe. 🌸 How to Get There: Take the train to Arakiyashimae Station (only one exit). Walk straight for a few minutes, and you'll see the railway on your left. Then, turn left to find the famous Houshi Bridge, where the yellow train passes through the cherry blossom tunnel. There are usually plenty of photographers around, so get ready for a perfect shot! Pro tip: To capture a close-up shot of the train, you’ll need a 100mm or longer lens. Otherwise, the photo may not turn out as well. After you’re done photographing, take a leisurely stroll down the street—it's even more picturesque as you walk! If you have time, stop by Umezoin Temple on the left side; the cherry trees at the entrance are lovely. #travel
