HOSHINOYA Tokyo Hotel｜A Showcase of Japanese Artistry

During my trip to Tokyo, the second hotel I stayed at was HOSHINOYA Tokyo, located at 1-9-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Overall, I really liked it. 🏯 Traditional Japanese Style You have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the hotel, and you can only walk barefoot throughout the building. The lobby has an entire wall of shoe lockers, and the staff will help you with your shoes every time you go out. They even remember the guests' features and room numbers to have the shoes ready as soon as the guests come downstairs. 🍵 The hotel offers some activities, some free and some with additional charges, all of which need to be booked in advance. I originally wanted to join a tea ceremony class, but the classes were fully booked for three days, so if you want to participate, make sure to book early. 👘 The rooms have yukata and pajamas, allowing you to experience Japanese style. Many Western guests walk around the hotel in yukata. However, the material of the pajamas is average and not particularly comfortable to wear. ♨️ The rooftop open-air hot spring is the highlight In a place like Tokyo, where every inch of land is precious, you can soak in a natural hot spring in the city center! The facilities are very complete, and the overall environment is very exquisite, which is definitely a plus. Public Tea Room Design Takes Some Getting Used To Each floor has a tea room where guests can make tea and enjoy small snacks. But honestly, staying at a hotel of this price range and having to go to a public area to get water and make coffee feels a bit like a university dormitory's common room, not quite the high-end hotel experience. Overall, HOSHINOYA Tokyo has exquisite facilities and a great hot spring experience. If you particularly like traditional Japanese style or want to experience a hot spring in the center of Tokyo, you can give it a try.
