Standing in front of the curtain wall, I couldn't help but marvel at how the master's ingenious ideas made even the deep shadows full of stories. Founded by Nezu Kaichiro in 1940 and officially opened in 1941, this private museum carries the profound heritage of the Nezu family. As soon as I entered the museum, the architecture, collections, and Aoyama Garden blended perfectly. The collision of nature and art delighted me as an art lover. Strolling through the garden, I saw four tea houses scattered around, and the Nezu Cafe, full of design sense. The abstract treatment of the roof and side edges is both modern and traditional. I ordered a cup of coffee, sat in the pavilion, and quietly enjoyed this rare tranquility. Inside the museum, the rich collection was dazzling. No reservation is required, and the ticket price is very affordable, yet I was able to experience such a vast, gentle, and impactful art world. From ancient paintings and calligraphy to exquisite ceramics, each collection whispers the stories of history. The time spent at Nezu Museum is one of my most unforgettable memories in Tokyo. It provided me with a haven for my soul amidst the busy city travels, immersing me in the beauty of art and nature.
