THE TOKYO EDITION, TORANOMON

| I spent nearly CNY 9,000 per night for 3 nights for the Tokyo Tower view. This is probably my most irrational expense in 2023. The hotel was designed by Kengo Kuma, a master architect in Japan, and ISC Design Studio. With the Tokyo Tower view as a selling point, it has been a popular hotel in Tokyo since its opening. When you enter the sky lobby, you will first see a whole wall of green plants, like an urban oasis. The lobby is not large, but it has a front desk, lounge, lobby bar, restaurant, and garden terrace. The green plants are used as walls to make the space full of vitality and ensure privacy. The 42 m² Deluxe Tokyo Tower View King Room is decorated with white paint and oak to create a low-key and Zen atmosphere. The Tokyo Tower view outside the window becomes the focus of the room. Of course, if you mention "high-end version of All Seasons Hotel", I will not object, because it is indeed simple, but the texture and experience are impeccable. The price of CNY 9,000 per night is certainly overpriced. In the post-pandemic era of global inflation, hotel prices have become increasingly absurd. The days of spending CNY 4,000 to stay in a Tokyo Tower View Room at Andaz Tokyo in 2018 are long gone. If you can experience this hotel at a lower price, I would still highly recommend it. I wish you better luck than me.
